Businesses need vision, mission or values to guide them forward and reach new goals. With a clear vision in mind a company can proceed to carry out projects which are relevant to reaching a greater goal. Mission vs. Vision
Both are important aspects to a companies business planning. The vision of the company is perhaps a more detailed framework for what it plans to do in the marketplace and how it would like to operate, as well as what image it will convey to its stakeholders. In technical terms the mission of the company is a unique description of the business; in a short and powerful paragraph which touches on the purpose, the drive and the image of the company.
